Behavioral psychology meets real-world discipline. For 14 years, I’ve worked with Malaysian professionals who wanted better habits—not hype. Here’s what I’ve learned.
My Journey
I finished my degree in Psychology at Universiti Malaya. Honestly, I thought I’d work in clinical settings or corporate HR. That wasn’t the plan—but life rarely follows the plan, does it?
Worked at a consulting firm in Cyberjaya. Good job, decent salary, but something was off. I’d watch talented people—smart people—fail because they couldn’t maintain consistent routines. They’d start strong, lose momentum by week three, then wonder what went wrong. I started noticing patterns nobody else seemed to care about.
Pursued formal training in Applied Behavioral Science at the Asian Institute of Management in Kuala Lumpur. This changed everything. I learned that willpower isn’t the problem—environment and structure are. Motivation’s overrated. Systems work. That’s what I wanted to teach.
Started my own habit-coaching practice while still consulting. Worked with over 2,000 professionals across Malaysia—engineers, managers, entrepreneurs, government staff. Designed habit programs specifically for Southeast Asian work culture. What works in California doesn’t always work in Cyberjaya, you know?
Partnered with DailyGain Sdn Bhd as Senior Habit Coach. Now I lead content strategy and design HRDF-claimable programs delivered across the Klang Valley. We’ve created 12 structured programs—from morning routines to workplace discipline to habit stacking. Over 3,000 professionals have gone through our training. And we’re just getting started.
The breakthrough moment came when I stopped trying to motivate people and started teaching them how to build systems that don’t require motivation. That’s what I do now. That’s what works.
What I Do
My work centers on behavioral psychology applied to real professional environments. Here’s where I focus most of my energy.
Building sustainable daily habits that actually stick. We don’t focus on motivation—we focus on environment, cues, and reward structures. Habit stacking, implementation intentions, behavioral architecture.
HRDF-accredited training for organizations. Helping teams establish consistent routines that improve productivity and reduce burnout. Tailored specifically for Malaysian corporate culture and values.
One-on-one coaching for professionals who want real behavioral change. Not generic self-help advice. Evidence-based techniques grounded in cognitive behavioral science and Southeast Asian context.
Authored research on habit-stacking techniques specific to Southeast Asian work environments. How to build new behaviors by anchoring them to existing routines. Practical frameworks that fit real schedules.
Designing educational programs and content that actually change behavior. 12 HRDF-claimable programs currently in delivery. Writing that bridges research and real-world application.
Translating neuroscience and behavioral research into actionable strategies. Understanding how habits form, why people struggle, and what actually works. Not theory—application.
My Approach
You don’t need to be inspired every day. You need structure. Environment design. Clear cues. When your system is right, behavior follows automatically. That’s the foundation of everything I teach.
Generic self-help doesn’t work. Malaysian professionals face different pressures, different cultural values, different schedules than people in other regions. My programs reflect that. We adapt proven techniques to your actual life.
You don’t need radical transformation. You need 1% improvements in daily routines. Consistency over intensity. A better morning routine impacts everything else—work focus, energy levels, decision-making. Start there.
Everything I recommend is grounded in behavioral research. No quick fixes. No promises of transformation in 7 days. Real, sustainable change takes time. But it’s worth it, and it actually sticks.
